Dr Veng Hieu

Dr Veng Hieu is a compassionate and approachable General Practitioner with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from The University of Melbourne. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
He has a strong focus on chronic disease management, including conditions such as osteoarthritis, asthma, and mental health concerns. Dr Veng also places importance on preventative healthcare, including screening for cervical, bowel, prostate, and breast conditions, as well as cardiovascular risk assessment, weight management, and overall health optimisation.
With experience working in rural settings, he is skilled in managing a broad range of medical presentations. He is committed to providing respectful, patient-centred care and ensuring patients feel heard and supported.
His clinical interests also include men’s health, including prostate and sexual health concerns, as well as travel medicine consultations.
